These are general guidelines; if any of the foods in the “can be given” list have known to cause allergy / wheezing in any individual or shown to be positive for causing allergy in any allergen tests, then those must be avoided; parents need to be observant when introducing any new food in general, and avoid any foods, especially if shown to be causing allergy by food-allergen tests
